The GLYCART Team

Pablo Umaña, PhD is Chief Scientific Officer and co-founder of GLYCART. He holds a M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Caltech, a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Biology from Caltech and was postdoctoral research fellow in molecular medicine at the University of Manchester. While working at the laboratory of Prof. James E. Bailey at the ETH Zurich, he created the base for the development and patenting of GLYCART's core technology (GlycoMAb). Dr. Umaña is the principal inventor of numerous patents and patent applications covering GLYCART's technologies and antibody products.
